My Lancome Skincare Range

When I left my job working for Benefit at Boots a few weeks ago, the lovely girls from all of the different beauty counters put together a leavers box and one of the things I was most excited about was the range of Lancôme skincare I received! They aren't full size but they are luxury samples which basically means they are miniatures. This is perfect for me though as they will definitely be jetting off in my case with me on holiday.

First up is a soothing anti-stress moisturising cream with SPF 15. It is really rich and creamy which isn't what I'm used to in a day cream but my skin drinks it up and it soaks in in next to no time. I usually go for a fragrance free moisturiser because I can be quite fussy when it comes to smells but this has a really nice sweet rose sent which isn't overpowering at all.

I also received a soothing recharging night cream. This sounds perfect for while I'm relaxing on holiday. Me and the boy have gone on lots of really exciting holidays which have mainly consisted of a lot of travelling. Don't get me wrong, I haven had some amazing trips away, but when you're working full time the last thing you want to do is be on your feet all day and tiring yourself out. So this year we have made a pact that we are having the most chilled out two weeks just soaking in the sun shine. So, whilst I'm recharging my batteries, I may as well recharge my skin at the same time!

I was also given a Lancôme Comforting Cleansing Milk and a Re-Hydrating Comforting Toner both 50ml. If you've read my blog before, you'll know that I'm an avid lover of No.7's Soft and Soothed Cleanser and toner but I think that they might be in competition. The cleansing milk is so soft and gentle on the skin and again has a hint of sweet rose petals. I find that it doesn't leave a residue on my skin like most cleansers, I'm quite happy for this to sit on my skin without the compulsion to wash it off straight away. I am really impressed with the result of the Toner as well, it is very hydrating on the skin and although it is a thicker consistency to what I am used to, it was very comforting on the skin.

The fifth piece of Lancôme skincare I received was a Non Oily Sensitive Eyes Instant Cleanser. When on holiday I tend to wear a fairly light base, usually because the sun and chlorine improve my skin an awful lot and once I've got a bit of a tan I find I don't need a full face of make up. However, while I'm away, I usually go a bit more heavy on the eye make up, lots of eye shadows and liner on an evening, to make things a bit more glam. I'm confident therefore that this remover for the eyes will come in handy because I'll want to make sure every scrap of make up comes off before bed because those hot nights will do horrors to blocked pores!
So there we have it, my Lancôme skincare range which will definitely be in my holiday must haves.
Do you use any of the Lancôme Skincare? What skincare will you be taking on holiday?
