Glossy Box | September 2014

I was so happy to open this month's Glossy Box, after having a slightly disappointing selection of products last month, September's box seems to have hit the nail on the head. Not only does it contain two full sized products that I can actually see myself using on a day to day basis, the samples I have received are things that I would truly consider going out and buying. The box it's self was a winner for me as well, it has been designed by Karen Millen and is a water colour-effect of a landscape portrait of the London skyline. I love the bluey-grey tone of the box which will match the colour scheme of my dinning room perfectly (once I finally get around to decorating it!) so I can use it as a bits and bobs-type box.

Nails Inc Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat | £12.50 | Link

The product I was most excited about when I pulled apart the tissue paper, was the Nails inc. Westminster Bridge Matte Top Coat. I love nails inc. and it is a very much 'go to' brand for me when I am thinking of buying a new nail varnish. I think that they are easy to apply and always give a great finish which lasts ages without chipping. I haven't tried a matte polish before now, but I have to admit, I really like it! Its a great product to have in my polish collection as it means that all of my polishes can be worn as matte, without the commitment of buying just one matte polish in a single colour.
L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Masque | £15.50 for 200ml
The second product I was really exited to use out of this month's Glossy Box was the L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Masque. Much like Nails Inc., L'Oreal is a bit of a go to brand for me, so I can't wait to try this new product of theirs. Although I do always seem to receive some sort of hair nourishment treatment from Glossy Box, I can't grumble too much as my hair can be quite dry and brittle, so every little helps, right? it smells great as is only 75ml so I think I will keep this for a weekend or trip away to give my hair an extra treat.
ModelCo More Brows Fibre Gel | £14.95
The second full sized product I received was from ModelCo. I am not overly familiar with this brand but I do have a lip product by them which I love, so I have high hopes for this little beauty. I must say, I am slightly disappointed with the packaging, I was expecting a little more than a plastic wrapper from this Aussie brand. Packaging aside, this little gem is far from disappointing, think Benefit's Gimme Brow, only £5 cheaper. This is great for me, because even though I was given one when I worked for Benefit, I was given the light/medium shade which isn't great for my deep brown brows, so it'll be nice to have a fibre gel brow product that matches the colour of my brows.
Skin Prep Enzyme and Acid Peel and Peeling Gel | £89.99 Full Sized
Vichy Normaderm Night detox and Hydrating Care | Day £12 Night £15
I also received some great skincare samples this month from Skin Prep and Vichy. I always love a good skin care sample as they are great to try out new products, they don't take up much room in your toiletry bag if you're going away on a short break, and they are also great to add as little extras for birthday and Christmas presents. There is two skin peels and an eye cream from Skin Prep, a brand I have never used before but with the price of the full sized product being £89.99 for the skin peel, I am definitely excited to give them a go! There is also a mini day and night cream by Vichy, which again is a brand that I have never used before but I have heard some great things about their range of products.
Do you like any of the products I received in this months Glossy Box? What products did you get in yours?
