October Favourites

I'm a little late on the band-wagon with my October monthly favourites but thought I would write it anyway just in case you fancied a little nosey. I've not quite moved on to my winter beauty collection yet and so this seems to be a bit of a boring collection of products, but they have all acted as staples for me for the last few weeks.

James Brown London | Dry Shampoo Hair Revive | £7.19 | Link
Since it has been getting a lot colder on a morning, I have been having my baths and showers before I go to bed. This James Brown dry shampoo as been a life saver for my hair on a morning to freshen it up and get rid of the bed-head look. I love how quick and easy it is to use, that not only smells really good but doesn't give your hair that grey colour if you pop too much on!

Soap and Glory | Calm One Calm All | £6 | Link
I won't ramble on too much about this product because I have already published a full review here if you would like a read. I have decided that I wouldn't want a bath without a blob of this little, moisturising beauty. It has the standard Soap and Glory smell and it nourishes your skin whilst you soak genuinely making you feel so silky smooth when you get out. Teamed up with their moisturiser my skin has never felt better!

Superdrug Skincare | Tea Tree Daily Facial Moisturiser | £3.99
I first read about this gem on Birds Words, a fantastic blog that if you don't already follow I would pop over to here! I decided to try it and Superdrug happened to have an absolute bargain on at the time, £3.99 each or two for £4. I'm so so glad I decided to purchase because this really is a great moisturiser. It is extremely lightweight on the skin and the tea tree aspect discourages breakouts.

Benefit Cosmetics | Erase Paste 02 | £20.50 | Link
I have used Erase Paste for quite some time but find I don't really need it during the Summer months when my makeup has more of a lighter coverage. Come winter I tend to bring out this product again and again as it offers great coverage for sleepy eyes and provides extra moisture to drying skin brought on by colder weather.

Rimmel London | Scandaleyes Retro Glam | £6.99 | Link
I usually only wear Benefit's They're Real but I have received a couple of full sized mascaras of late in my Glossy Boxes so I thought I should step out of my comfort zone and have a try. This is Rimmel's Scandaleyes Retro Glam in black and I'm sorry to say it doesn't compare to They're Real. It is still in my monthly favourites because as mascaras go, I think this is a top product, it offers good coverage, an even distribution and thickens and elongates lashes. If I was wanting to save money, I would definitely consider this as an alternative mascara but in my eyes, They're Real is still top dog.
So there we are, my October monthly favourites. I'm so exited that it is now November (even though I cannot believe how fast this year has gone!! ) because now I feel like it is socially acceptable to start getting excited for Christmas. It is my first one in my new home with the boy and I can't wait! I can tell I am going to be doing lots of shopping soon to decorate the house and I'm going to try and do lots of festive home baking.
What have you been loving the last few weeks? Are you excited for the build up to Christmas?
