Superdrug's Flutter Bath Fizz Review

Superdrug's Flutter | Bath Fizz | £3 now £1 | Link
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram or are a regular reader of my blog, them you have probably read my constant ramblings of my recent love of bathing and soaking in the tub. It's funny because I used to absolutely hate baths, I thought they were a waste of time and it would annoy me that my hair never felt properly clean. Now however, I can't seem to get enough of them! I think now I appreciate some 'me time' in which I can surround myself with nice smelling candles and escape form the real world for an hour or so with a good book or some calming music. I really enjoy pinning up my hair, whacking on a face mask and pouring in a big dollop of Soap and Glory's Calm One Calm All bath soak. I literally cannot get enough of this stuff, I've done a full review here if you fancy a more in depth read, and it also featured on my October Favourites post here.
Due to my new found love of the tub I decided to treat myself to some more bath time goodies. My plan was to head over to Lush and buy a few bits and bobs, especially as they have now brought out their Christmas collection. However, I stumbled across this little gem whilst I was shopping in Superdrug and decided to give this Flutter Bath Fizz a whirl instead. They were on offer for £1 each and so I popped it into my basket. I have to admit, I didn't have extremely high expectations (sorry Superdrug) because it was such a low price. I presumed it wouldn't be the greatest bath bomb in the world but boy, was I proved wrong!
It was really lovely and sweet smelling, not quite as lingering as Lush products I have used in the past, but I didn't actually mind this because I'm not a huge fan of overly intense scents. I popped it in and let it fizz before I got in the bath mainly because I always find it weird when they float around next to me! It left a slightly oily residue which felt amazing on my skin and really made my skin feel silky smooth. Once I got out and patted myself dry I applied The Body Shop's Papaya Body Butter ( full review here ) which really helped to lock in the moisture provided by the bath fizz. It was a really lovely treat and I would recommend it especially if you're not wanting to spend too much money on bath products. I do plan to head over to Lush soon though, I'm dying to try out Snow Fairy!
Have you tried any of Superdrug's Flutter range? What are your favourite bath time pampers?
