My Current Love | Coral Tones

Recently I have been embracing summer and have really enjoyed incorporating coral tones into my beauty routine...

THE BLUSH

If you are a regular reader of my blog then you have probably seen this little guy pop up multiple times. I don't have too many items from Topshop's beauty range, but this Cream Blush of theirs in Head Over Heels is a lovely little number. I think it is such a versatile blusher in the sense that it can be worn for a range of different occasions throughout the year. I have really been enjoying it as a light summer shade which is great in terms of colour but also in terms of consistency. With it being a cream blush it is so easy to blend into my make up whilst maintaining a dewy and fresh look.

THE LIPSTICK

Speaking of Topshop beauty, I have also been wearing their beautiful coral lipstick. It is slightly matte and so I have been teaming it with some Carmex lip balm and applying a very thin layer of the lipstick. It has incredible pigmentation which is great as it doesn't need to be constantly topped up. I love having natural make up with this coral shade as it looks so summery and acts as a bit of a statement colour.

THE NAIL VARNISH

This nail vanish hasn't left my toe nails for weeks and weeks, I just can't stop reapplying it! Every time I sit to do my feet and decide what colour I want to put on, I just keep on grabbing this bottle. When I haven't been at work I have also been applying this lovely orange coral vanish on to my finger nails. It is a beautiful colour for summer and the NCLA brand is a great nail vanish. It is highly chip-resistant and only needs two coats for really good coverage.

THE EYESHADOW

I was so happy to receive this deluxe sample from Nars of their iconic blusher, Orgasm. However, for me personally, it didn't work out too well on my cheeks. It is a gorgeous rose pink with flecks of gold running through it. However, it was too glitzy on my cheeks, especially for an everyday look and so I put it to one side. However, a few months later I decided that I wanted a copper/pink eyeshadow and I had a sudden brainwave about Orgasm. I tried it out as an eyeshadow and it hasn't left my lids since. I have really enjoyed using this as a statement eyeshadow shade.

Have you been enjoying Coral this summer?
What is your summer colour?
