How To Relax After The Festive Season & Make Time For Yourself





Christmas is a funny time of year and it can sometimes feel as though it is a little non-stop. What with meeting friends for festive drinks, Christmas shopping, family meet ups and planning and sorting everything for the big day - it can be a little exhausting. One of the mains things I love to do once Christmas is all over is take some time out for myself and enjoy some quiet and alone time.


I think it is important to take some time out for yourself as it can some times feel as though you are burning the candle at both ends around this time of year. Here are a few things that I like to do to clear my head and have a little 'me time'. 

1. Have a bath
2. Write a list
3. Go out for a quiet coffee
4. Start a new book
5. Do some colouring
6. Have a pamper session 
7. Go for a walk
8. Catch up on Netflix
9. Watch a Disney film
10. Do some blogging
11. Take photographs
12. Do some baking
13. Paint nails
14. Cook a meal from scratch
15. Sort through and organise Christmas presents
16. Clear out wardrobe
17. Write Thank You notes
18. Tidy and clean house from top to bottom
19. Have a nap
20. Plan a trip away
