A Book Lovers Gift Guide
I am a huge, huge lover of books. I literally
can’t get enough and I would say that reading is one of my favourite things to
do. I seem to get a lot more done during the winter evenings and really look
forward to nights in with candles, a hot bath and a good book. If anyone is
ever struggling for a gift to get me, a book of some kind is always a safe bet.
In this Gift Guide the focus is books, however,
even if you are looking for a present for someone that doesn’t seem to read a
great deal, there are some lovely, helpful and interesting reads that are easy
to pick up and put down, without the commitment of reading an entire book.
I love eating brunch but working 9-5, Monday to
Friday means that it is a weekend treat for me. I picked up this book from
Oliver Bonas for just £4.99 that was a bargain. It has all different brunch
ideas that I can’t wait to try out. This would be a great gift for any food
lover or someone that enjoys spending time in the kitchen to provide some
brunch time inspiration.
I fell in love with the concept of Hygge when I
discovered this little book. It is a Danish word meaning cosy, warm and
being in your happy place. This book offers Hygge inspiration from your
wardrobe, to cooking to activities and decorating your home. It is such a
lovely coffee table book that would be sure to warm the heart of any of its
readers.
As you might already know, if you read my
Capsule Wardrobe Hopes, Dreams and Plans post, I am currently in the process of
sorting out an organising my home. I picked up this book that I have seen multiple
times on the Internet in the hope that it will help me on my quest for a tidy
and organised home. I think that this would be a great present to someone that
has just moved or are on his or her way to university to help him or her settle
in with a tidy frame of mind.
I love new stationary and I think that it is a
lovely gift to get someone for Christmas. Rifle Paper Co. is a beautiful, luxury,
stationary brand that offer a huge range from calendars to note pads to thank
you cards. I love this little To Do list; the paper is so pretty.
