The little beauty staples I like to carry with me wherever I go...

I always like to be prepared and I hate it when I am out of the house and need something that I really wish I had with me. I think this is why I usually always take out a rather large handbag, so that I can fit in all of my 'just in case' emergency items. I thought that I would focus this post on to what my beauty essentials are and why I carry them around with me everywhere I go.

Two of my definite handbag beauty must haves are Hand Maid by Soap & Glory and a miniature Hand Cream from Cath Kidston. Hand Maid is a anti-bacterial hand sanitizer which has the typical Soap & Glory scent. It is so nice to give your hands a quick freshen up, especially when you're on the go, without the clinical smell. The hand cream from Cath Kidston is a lovely hand cream that soaks into the skin really quickly yet makes them feel very hydrated. It comes in quite floral scents, this one being Rose, but it isn't too overpowering and gives off just enough of a girly smell.

My lip products tend to vary depending on where I am going, what I'm wearing, what the weather is like ect ect. However, my staples at the moment are the Classic Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm which is incredibly nourishing on the lips, Mac's Real Doll which is a great picky nude, and a Nars Lip Pencil which is very similar to my natural lip colour and so is suitable for pretty much any occasion.

In terms of face/base products I only really carry around my No.7 Translucent Pressed Powder compact. It has a little mirror and a sponge so it is great to not only take away that afternoon shine, but to also check on the rest of my make up and apply lip products. I have also been carrying around a little perfume of late. It is called Fleur de Figuier by Roger and Gallet, which I received in one of my Glossy Boxes a few months ago. It is a fresh and floral scent which is really lovely to pop a few drops onto my neck area if I have been out all day and in need of a little freshen up.

What handbag beauty essentials can you not live without?
