Yesterday I wrote a post about what makeup picks I have added to my daily routine now that we are well into the season on Autumn, which you can ready about here. Today, I thought I would write a little post just letting you know what fashion or wardrobe staples, I have adopted over the past few weeks that contribute towards My Transition Into Autumn.

I bought this camel, jacket-style coat from Topshop about two weeks ago. I saw it before I went away on holiday and couldn't stop dreaming about it and so decided to treat myself and buy it. I think that it is a really nice, classic style that can be quite casual, yet easily dressed up with an A-line skirt and ankle boots. I ended up getting the coat from Topshop's Petit range as I am a little on the short side, and the fit is perfect. The length is ideal with the right length sleeves and a nice fit on my shoulders. Usually winter coats tend to drown me and so I am really happy with the sizing of this one. It is nice and light-weight yet extremely cosy and warm.
I have teamed this Autumnal staple with my Topshop Jamie Jeans, grey Vans and Primark tartan scarf, for a casual everyday look. I have really been enjoying this style of late as I feel warm yet not too cosy, as the weather can be quite unpredictable at this time of year, and so it is nice to wear layers.
What Autumnal fashion staples have you adopted?
