I think that lounge wear is probably my most favourite range of fashion, especially in the colder months. It is the sort of clothing that I wouldn't really wear out of the house, but still makes me feel as though I am still dressed on days or evenings when I know that I won't be leaving the house. I don't really want to get in my PJs as soon as I get home from work but I also don't want to sit on the sofa with neflixs in my jeans. I suppose for me it is a happy medium. Here is a little collection of lounge wear pieces that I have been loving at the moment.

I fell in love with these jogging bottoms from Topshop earlier this year. I felt like I needed a nice pair of jogging bottoms that fit me well and were practical. This might sound like a silly thing to want in a piece of lounge wear clothing, but I always seemed to be wearing really baggy jogging bottoms that had a lot of extra material which weren't so practical to wear around the house. This is because in my lounge wear outfits I still tend to do jobs around the house and run up and down stairs. When I saw that these joggers came in petit sizing this was another bonus as I felt as though the cuffs at the bottom would be comfortable yet fitted and that they would fit me nicely on the waist. I also love that they have little side pockets as they can come in useful when pottering about the house.

I have been in need of some new slippers for a while now. We have a fair amount of tiled and laminate flooring which can be a little chilly on a morning when I run down for my first coffee of the day. It is surprising that when your feet get cold, the rest of your body becomes freezing. I love having my feet in some lovely fluffy slippers and these ones from Primark are just what I needed. I love the camel swede slipper with the white fluffy trim and at just four pounds I don't think you could ask for a better buy.

I got this dressing gown a few years ago for Christmas and I absolutely love it! It is so soft and warm, but what I love most is that it is a short dressing gown. It cuts off just below my hips and so I get the benefits of being super warm in a cuddly dressing gown, without feeling swapped, claustrophobic or to hot as I sometimes do in a full length fluffy gown.

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter and fell in love with this tee-shirt when I saw it in Primark the other week. I like that it is fairly subtle and it is really comfortable to wear. It is quite a baggy fit which is ideal for a lounge wear piece of clothing. It is nice and thin which means that I can easily layer it up if I do get a little warm when doing bit and bobs around the house.
