The seasons seem to be changing again and with the darker nights and chillier mornings it really is starting to feel like winter.

I have  been loving this candle lately. I decided to treat myself a few weeks ago to a couple of The White Company treats. This White Lavender candle is so beautiful and a wonderful winter addition to my bedroom. Although I love Christmas smelling candles during this time of year, I still prefer this relaxing and peaceful scent for my bedroom. I love getting ready for bed, lighting my candle and reading a couple of chapters of my current read. It makes the whole room smell amazing and creates a lovely cosy atmosphere during these wintery nights.

I bought this necklace from Primark a couple of weeks ago and have been wearing it nearly everyday. It is a great chain that seems to go with every outfit. What I like about it is that it is very simple yet provides a little more structure to an everyday outfit. I usually opt for silver jewellery however I seem to be drawn more to gold tones of late. I think that this paired with a jumper dress or polo neck top is a great winter accessory.

A Christmas Carol is probably one of my favourite Christmas stories even though I have never read the book. I love the film adaptations that have been made and there rarely goes a week in December that I don't watch A Muppet's Christmas Carol. It is for this reason that I am making Charles Dickens' Christmas tale a winter essential of mine as I am determined to read it this year. Also, how beautiful is the cover from the Waterstones' Clothbound Classics range.

Wooly hats are an absolute winter essential for me. My head always seems to be freezing and as long as my head is warm then the rest of me stays pretty warm too. I love this bobble hat from Topshop that I bought in the sale last year. I think that there is something quite cute in wearing a little bobble hat and I know that I will get just as much use out of this winter accessory as I did last year.

I was given these gloves last Christmas and they are such a winter essential. They are a perfect fit and keep my hands really cosy and warm. Not only are they really practical in that they are fitting to my hands and so I have the use of all ten fingers, but they also have these amazing technology tips. I'm not too sure what the material is but it allows me to use my Iphone without having to take off my gloves and so my hands stay lovely and warm.
