Winter is well and truly upon us and this means yet another wardrobe transition is in order. I tend to change from very hot to very cold quite quickly and so even in the colder months I prefer to wear thin layers that I can build up.
I picked up this black, cotton jumper dress from Primark a few weeks ago and it finally feels weather appropriate to start to wear it. They had a range of colours but I opted for black as I thought that it would make it a much more versatile outfit that would go with more elements of my wardrobe.
I think that it is quite a flattering fit with a soft scoop necked neckline, full sleeves with a mid-thigh length. It is such a simple straight lined design but I think that this is why it is such a wardrobe staple as it can be worn in a variety of styles. Here I have opted for a more casual everyday look as I have worn it with tights, over the knee black, cotton socks and flat, brown boots. But for a more dressed up, date night look I would perhaps opt out of the tights (weather permitting) and team the dress with some black ankle boots, a statement necklace and a leather jacket.
What winter additions have you got for your wardrobe?
