The last day of the year means lots of drinks, parties and celebrations with friends and family. We usually go to a friend's house party or have some sort of get-together, however this year, James and I have decided to have a quiet evening with each other.

I still want to get dressed up a little though and so I have created a simple New Year's Eve make up look. I have a nice, chilled-out day planned which involves popping over to see a friend and going around to my Grandma's for a quick cup of tea. I have a few errands to run in town and a couple or boring house-y things to get sorted before getting prepped and ready for the last night of the year.

I washed my face using Brodie and Stone's Snake-Venom facial scrub and applied their vitamin C serum with Benefit's Triple Performing Facial Emulsion. Once soaked into the skin I applied Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe Medium 2 and Sephora's Creamy concealer to cover dark circles and blemishes. I then applied Mac's Mineralise Skin Finish using the real Techniques Concealer Blending brush.
I then filled in my brows using Benefit Cosmetics Brow-Zings in Medium and applied Seventeen's Bronze and Glow Bronzer along my cheek bones, my temples, down my nose, across my forehead and along my jaw line. I picked Benefit's Hervana blusher on the apples of my cheeks.
For my eyes I used Seventeen's Bronze Brick in Gold and applied the strips of colour in a smokey eye effect. I then used a really cheep black liquid liner that I picked up for a Pound from Savers a while ago which gives a really even and precise line. A little coal liner under my bottom lashes and then two coats of They're real Mascara from Benefit.
To complete my New Years Eve makeup I opted for a deep berry lip and chose Topshop's Wicked.
I hope you have a lovely New Years Eve - do you have lots of exciting plans?
How will you be doing your make up for tonight?
