Nars is one of my favourite make up brands. I have never bought or used anything that I haven't loved and the quality of the products is so amazing. Not only that, the packaging is absolutely spot on, I love the matte, black casing with the iconic white Nars writing, it all looks so beautiful when gathered together.

I realised the other day that a lot of my staple, make up essentials are from Nars and so I thought it only natural to share my favourite essential picks.

My love for Nars started early last year when James so kindly bought me the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation for Christmas. I had been lusting after it for a long long time and after all of the build up I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. It is a perfectly dewy foundation that blends unbelievably well which feels light on the skin yet has great coverage.

This concealer is my go-to when I have some serious concealing to do. It is intensely creamy but not oily in the slightest. It blends really well but offers amazing coverage. Along side the Sheer Glow Foundation these two beauties hide all blemishes. It is great for dark circles under the eyes and any redness. It is equally as soft on the skin and feels extremely light-weight.

Nars offer a range of multiple sticks and I have my eye on a new gorgeous soft pink shade. The idea of the multiple is that you can us them on your cheeks, eyes and lips. Currently I have a soft brown shade that is great for contouring. I like to apply it just under my cheek bones, along my temples, the sides of my nose and along my jaw line. I usually dab the stick with my trusty Real Techniques Buffering Brush, rather than applying the product straight onto my face, I find this is a little more natural and subtle.

I love this lip pencil as an everyday product. The colour is a 'my lips but better' shade with a very very subtle shimmer. It glides easily onto the lips and although isn't advertised as being hydrating, due to it's formula it feels very nourishing on the lips.

This blusher is one of Nars' best selling items and I can completely understand why. Personally I don't tent to use it as a blusher unless I am going on a night out because I find that it is a little to shimmery on my cheeks for my liking on a day to day basis. However, I absolutely adore this shade as an eye shadow. I usually do really natural eyes and then apply a small amount of Orgasm onto the centre of my lids.
