Last weekend I decided to get super productive and that began with me waking up early and making James and I the most perfect French Toast. I don't think that I have ever had French Toast before, and I certainly hadn't made it before. After a little research on Pinterest the night before however, I felt ready and prepped come Saturday morning to put my new found knowledge to practice and I must say - I was pretty impressed with the result. So impressed in fact, that I thought that I would share my method on here.

What You Will Need (for two servings)
2/3 eggs - depending on how 'egg-y' you want your toast to be
A splash of milk
A teaspoon of cinnamon
Four slices of bread
A knob of butter
A few teaspoons of sugar
Maple syrup
A dusting of icing sugar

Crack two eggs into a dish, add milk and cinnamon and whisk until smooth.

Put the butter into a pan to melt ready for when your toast is to be fried.

Place slices of bread into the egg mixture making sure to coat both sides. When this is done, place each slice of bread into the frying pan. Sprinkle some caster sugar on each side before frying to add a crispy sugar coating.

Once cooked serve on a plate with a sprinkle of icing sugar and splash of maple syrup. You can see all of this in action over on my YouTube channel in last weeks Weekend Blog.

How do you like to eat your French Toast?
