As a huge lover of disney and all things make up, when I discovered that urban Decay were releasing a palette in collaboration with Alice In Wonderland on the build up to the new film, Alice Through The Looking Glass, I had my heart set on buying this wonderful creation.

Urban Decay's Alice In Wonderland Eyeshadow Palette | £43 | Link

There has clearly been a lot of thought and planning put into the creation of the palette. It is truly reflective of the weird and magical world of Alice In Wonderland with the bold print and colours. I love the quotes from the film that are scrawled all over in gold writing. It comes with a reasonable sized mirror with a quote from the Cheshire Cat; "We're all mad here" which I think is so cute.

I love the fact that each of the five columns of eye shadow have been inspired by different characters of the film. The first column of shades is based on Alice with the first being Looking Glass then Reflection, Dormouse and Metamorphosis which are great shades for an easy work-wear look. The second column along is the Mad Hatter with the shades Hatter, Gone Mad, Paradox and Cake, each of which will make a fun addition to an otherwise neutral look. Mirana is the next column along with Lily, Duchess, Kingdom and Chessboard which is a lovely neutral and warm collection, ideal for a soft day time look. Iracebeth is the next character with a selection of Heads Will Roll, Bandersnatch, Salazen Grum and Royal Flush which will create a beautiful on trend smokey eye with copper and navy.  The final column of shades is inspired by the character called Time with the shades, Time, Dream On, Chronosphere and Mirror, a fantastic selection of shades for a perfect and dramatic smokey eye for evenings out.

I am so glad that they have included a blending brush in this palette that has the same packaging as pallet its self. I love the black background with the bright and bold colours with roses and butterflies. Unlike most brushes included in make up palettes, I can actually see myself using this one as it is so soft and seems as though it will be really good at applying and blending the product on to the lids.

I am yet to try and have a play with the shades but if they are anything like the other Urban Decay eyeshadows I already have then I will be extremely happy. I just wanted to show you the palette and give my first impressions of it. I am sure that it will feature heavily in posts to come so be sure to watch this space.
