Cup O' Coffee | £6.75 for 150g | Link

Another day, another purchase from Lush. I thought that I would take a leap into the world that is coffee scrubs and find out if they really are worth the hype.

"Just around the corner there's a rainbow in the sky. So let's have another cup o' coffee and let's have another piece o' pie! If you're a sucker for the strong, dark, stimulating type, take a shot of this coffee infusion filled mask to the face. Wake up and invigorate the skin with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Roasted cocoa extract, vetivert and coriander oil combine to create an addictive fragrance. It's so enslaving, don't just use on your face. Smooth over face and body, leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water for your daily fix."

Initially, this is quite a strong smelling face mask and at first I found the coffee scent quite over-powering. However, once a thin layer was applied to my skin it was a lot less intense and smelt like a cup of freshly brewed coffee. It is a very dark, concentrated brown mask that appears very think and gloopy, but again, once applied to the skin, a little goes a long way and it can be spread quite thinly on to the skin.

As you may imagine, it has actual grains of coffee within the product which is what provides the exfoliating element to the mask. Only a very small amount of product is needed and whilst it is being spread over your skin, the coffee grains exfoliate your skin. Lush recommend that you leave the mask on your skin for 10-15 minutes after application. I found it not at all drying on the skin, nor did it feel as though my skin was getting tight whilst the product was drying - I basically forgot that I had the mask on!

After 10-15 minutes I have been using a muslin cloth and warm water to gently remove the mask. My skin feels so soft and awake afterwards and I feel as though my imperfections have instantly been minimised. I have been using it on an evening so have been applying my usual night cream once I have taken it off, and wake up in the morning with my skin still feeling super soft and pretty much blemish free. I have been really impressed by this face mask and it has most certainly become a part of my regular skincare routine.
