Keswick Mountain Festival, my first festival of the year...

A few weekends ago I headed over to Keswick with my boyfriend's band, Everlate. The boys were playing on the headliner stage at the Keswick Festival, just before Toploader and Scouting For Girls. We had a lovely afternoon exploring the various stalls and outdoor events on offer with the live music starting in the early evening. Although it doesn't look it in the pictures, it was a lovely sunny evening that wasn't too cold until the sun went down.

The boys were really good and Scouting For Girls were brilliant and really good at getting everyone into the festival sprit. It was a lovely festival to go to with lots to do for the family. Unfortunately, once the live music finished, just after ten, there wasn't a huge amount to do, so the band and us girlies walked into Keswick to a lovely little bar to celebrate the boy's birthday which was the next day. After perhaps *a few too many*, we headed over to the campsite to settle down for the night.

We only had passes to the festival for one day so after a hearty full english the next morning, we were back on the road again to get back to York.

It was so fun to go to a festival so early on in the year, and although we were only there for one day, it really got me into the festival spirt and really excited for the next few that the boy and I have lined up!

Are you going to any festivals this year?
