A few weeks ago I went with my family down to Longleat for my Mum's birthday. We drove down in the early hours of the Sunday morning and spent the day exploring Longleat Safari Park. After staying in a hotel that night, we then made our way over to Longleat's Centre Parcs and spent a week in a beautiful villa which was five days of pure relaxation.

Within this photo diary I have split the pictures up into a couple of categories. There isn't a huge amount of variation but like I've said, it was a week to re-charge and re-set so a lot of our days were spent reading books, chilling in the hot tub and enjoying being surrounded by nature.

The villa we stayed in was truly beautiful. We had a bit of a treat as we were celebrating a 'significant' birthday for my mum but it was seriously amazing.

The view from my bedroom's balcony.

A games room equipped with a pool table.

Outside we had our very own hot tub, sauna and steam room!

During the day we spent most of our time chilling out in and around the villa. My mum and I were very good and got up each morning to do some yoga before having breakfast. I pretty much lived in my Ivy Park Tank and black leggings!

The evenings were just as chilled as the days with snooker tournaments, open fires and lots of wine. We went out for dinner and watched the football one of the evenings but apart from that it was really nice to not watch the TV and just enjoy each others company.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink at Centre Parcs but we stayed in the majority of the time. Our villa was so beautiful and our schedule so relaxed that it was nice to just eat at home. We had a couple of meals out and these American Pancakes on the last day were to die for!
