One of my goals for this year was to see more live music and to go to more music festivals. CarFest is my third music festival of the year and although I wasn't too fussed about the expensive cars on show, the music performances were on point.

CarFest is a family based festival organised and hosted by the Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans. This was it's fifth year running an it's goal is to raise money for the Charity, Children In Need. I was really excited to spend the day listening to good music and exploring the food stands, which were much bigger and better than last year. I was lucky enough to be a plus one as my boyfriend's band, Everlate, was playing in the Wigwam tent.

Once the boys had finished their set we headed over to the main stage as Seal's set began. He was a great performer and it was so much fun to be transported back to my childhood and hear all of his hits.

It was a beautiful sunset and the boy and I took up the perfect opportunity in-between bands for a few cheeky pictures - I fell in love with this cute little arm chair!

After grabbing an amazing burrito from one of the food stalls the boy and I sang away and danced along to The Feeling and then Bryan Adams whilst the sun was setting, leaving a beautiful purple sky that created an amazing backdrop to Bolesworth Castle.

Once the music had stopped there was a fantastic fireworks display which was incredible to watch. It was such a fun day and I would really recommend going if you get the chance.

Have you ever been to Car Fest?
Are you going to any festivals this year?
