On Saturday I jumped on the train down to London to attend my second Bloggers Festival event organised by the lovely Scarlett London. This was now my Fourth blogging event that I have attended and I was so excited to get the opportunity to go a second year in a row.

I got to London a little early so I headed over to Oxford Street for a little wonder around Selfridges. I picked up some beautiful stationary from the Rifle Paper Co. that I have been lusting over for ages - no doubt you will see it featured in the background of a lot of my up and coming blog post pictures! I then met up with Sam, writer of Samantha's Beauty Loves, who I befriended at last year's Bloggers Festival. We ended  up grabbing some lunch together before the event started.

Walking into the event we were greeted by Scarlett herself and the most beautiful wall of white roses. After a quick photo op, we help ourselves to the amazing sweetie stall and proceeded to meet the various brands and their representatives the event had to offer.

There was a huge range of beauty and lifestyle products and brand to talk to and find out about. I was instantly intrigued by 7th Heaven's Multi-Masking Kit and can't wait to try all of the amazing face masks they have on offer. Another highlight for me was Natural World. I have tried a few of their products in the past but they now have a new formula and I am really excited to use their new range of hair masks.

Unlike previous blogging events that I have attended in the past, not only were there lots of stalls and competitions with the various brands on offer, but I also got to be part of an amazing photo shoot for Jewellery Box. Before the event I was contacted and asked to pick out my three favorite pieces from their current range. I was then asked to model the pieces at the event itself which added a whole new element to the day. I can't wait to receive the pictures! I was also featured in one of Samantha Jones' vlog/interviews that she was filming throughout the day. You can have a watch of my interview here.

I had such a lovely time at the event and can't thank Scarlett enough for inviting me. Be sure to watch out for lots of new content here on Madolyn Thinks, featuring all of these wonderful new products. I always feel so much more inspired when I have attended an event like this. Meeting lots of like-minded people really spurs me on and makes me a lot more optimistic about the blogging community as a whole.
