Lately I have been on a bit of a mission to live a minimalist inspired lifestyle. I want to let go of possessions and the feeling of being materialistic and focus on what I need and enjoy in life. I need things to be less complicated and I want to choose quality over quantity.

I want to embrace this thought process to all aspects of my life, including my wardrobe. I wrote a post recently about Ways To Create A Capsule Wardrobe and about My Clothing Rail and Clothes Organisation. So with this in mind, when I now go shopping, I choose items of clothing with a lot more consideration and the goal that I can create at least four different looks by combining it with items that are already in my wardrobe.

This month’s purchase was this lovely dark grey, cropped, long sleeved, high necked top which was an absolute bargain from Primark for just £3! I wore this the other day when I had A Day Trip To Leeds City Centre and I think that it is one of those tops that can be worn again and again, constantly re-creating the way it looks.
