I am so happy for it to be the start of April. It truly feels like spring and with the much lighter evenings, I don’t feel like such a zombie when I’m walking home from work.

I have had a really fun March with two trips to London, an amazing Blogging Event and a trip to Prague. It is my last full day in Prague today and we have had such a lovely past few days exploring the city and spending time just relaxing without any real plan.

As always, my monthly favourites have been divided into beauty and lifestyle products and there is also a March Favourites video live on my YouTube channel which goes into a bit more detail about each pick.

Two of my absolute beauty favourites this month have been the NYX Matte Not Flat liquid foundation and the Seventeen Three Way Wow Primer and Highlighter. I recently went through and sorted out my beauty stash and rediscovered some makeup that I forgot that I have, including these two gems. I have been wearing them combined as an everyday base for work, which has been great. At first I found the NYX foundation too heavy, despite the fact that I loved it’s full coverage, however, when combined with some of the Seventeen highlighter, it becomes lighter and easy to blend, without loosing any of it’s coverage.

Another beauty favourite has been the Lush Cup O’ Coffee Face & Body Scrub. I have written about this product a number of times here on Madolyn Thinks, but I have been appreciating it much more over the last few weeks. I find that using it once or twice a week really brightens my complexion and leaves my skin feeling really nice and soft.

In terms of lifestyle products I have really enjoyed using this amazing bath caddy from Got Wood Treasure. This is a shop that James has set up in which he creates products out of reclaimed and reconditioned wood. It is really well made and I love to have this handy little table that I can pop all of my beauty products, a drink and my book on, whilst sitting in the bath. On a similar line to baths and pampering, I have also enjoyed using this Luffa from The Body Shop to ‘dry exfoliate’ before getting in the bath or shower. The idea is that you dry brush without water or products to really buff your skin before getting clean, which has made my skin super soft lately.

Another favourite has been the Berlitz Prague Pocket Guide, which also featured in my March Recent Reads post. It has been such a handy little book that has provided a great overview of Prague with recommendations, maps and history about the city. My final March favourite is this pretty little Primark Stripy Bell Sleeved Top. It was just £8 and I think that it is such a flattering fit that is so cute. I love this bell sleeve trend and really want to get a few more pieces like it.

I hope you had a lovely March, what were your monthly favourites?
