Haircare is most probably the beauty department that I focus on the least. It isn’t that I don’t like hair products, I just find that when it comes to my hair, simplicity is best. I have fairly long and quite thick hair which I have found over the years, looks it’s best when I wash it only a couple of times a week and use a very minimal amount of products.

Lately, my hair care routine has consisted of me washing my hair twice a week with Bumble & Bumble’s Sunday shampoo and applying a few drops of Three Organic’s Hair Elixir to the ends of my hair. Styling wise, I often use the Bumble & Bumble Thickening Hair Spray to hold my hair in place, whilst freshening up my hair with Lush’s No Drought Dry Shampoo in between washes.

Recently however, I have been introduced to Natural World’s new hair care ranges. I have tried a few of their hair oils in the past, and I especially loved the Argan Oil one, but had never tried any of their other products. I took their Hair Care Test, which askes a number of questions to work out which of their ranges would be best suited to you and your hair type. Due to my hair type, length and environmental factors, the test revealed that the best suited range for me was the Charcoal & Mint Ultra Purifying Range*.

Shampoo & Conditioner

The Natural World Charcoal & Mint shampoo* and conditioner* are a serious hair lovers treat. The products contain mint as well as four essential oils; Rosemary, Lemongrass, orange and ylang ylang, which I am sure you can imagine, provide the most refreshing and uplifting scent. After washing my hair with these products it felt so clean and silky smooth, smelling absolutely incredible.

The activated charcoal within the shampoo and conditioner is known for its abilities to erase impurities and excess oil. As I only like to wash my hair twice a week, this is ideal for me as I want to clean off the build-up of products that I use in-between washes. The essential oils within the Charcoal & Mint range aim to soften and hydrate the hair and scalp in order to keep the hair nourished.

Hair Mask

I don’t normally use hair masks even though I appreciate the benefits of using them. For the last few weeks I have been applying the Natural World Charcoal & Mint Ultra Purifying Mask* just on my ends, before washing my hair. As it contains the same ingredients as the shampoo and conditioner, my hair feels particularly soft and nourished once I have washed it out.

You can purchase the Natural World Charcoal & Mint Ultra Purifying Range here, which starts from just £4.
