Last weekend I was invited down to the capital to attend Scarlett London’s Bloggers Suite event at the Qbic London Hotel. I have been to quite a few of Scarlett’s blogging events now, (Bloggers Ball & Bloggers Festival) and this one followed a similar layout to the others. The Bloggers Suite was a little more of an intimate affair with only seventy-five guests, so it was nice to be able to chat to a lot of the bloggers that were there and I got to meet some lovely people.

The Venue

The event itself was held at the Qbic London Hotel, which is located in the heart of East London. It has such a cool and quirky atmosphere about it from its funky layout to miss-matched furniture. When we arrived at the venue we were greeted with some of the most instagramable cocktails. I had the vodka and rhubarb tonic one which was absolute perfection. There were also some cute cupcakes, bags of popcorn and sweeties on offer to keep us going through the afternoon. It was the perfect location for an intimate blogging event, which made us all feel welcome and at home.

Scarlett always gets some amazing brands to showcase at her events and the Bloggers Suite was no different. I really enjoyed talking to the representatives at SanDisk who were lovely enough to gift us a Flash Drive, which expands your phone capacity with an extra 32GB of memory. There were also the lovely people from Lipivir who were also doing a live photo-shoot, which was really fun to take part in. Similar to most events, we also received a goodie bag at the end of the event that had some lovely products gifted by Beverly Hills Formula, Masque Bar, White Glo and Green Cola

Not only were there some amazing brands showcasing their products at the Bloggers Suite, there were also three chats held by three bloggers, available for us to listen too. I really enjoyed the talk by Squib Vicious, which was all about SEO. She was brilliant at talking and provided some really interesting and eye opening information that I know I will apply to my blog. She also published a blog post all about it that you can read here. The Second talk that I listened to was by Charlotte Jones, which was all about presence in the Blogosphere. This again was really interesting as Charlotte was able to talk about it from both a brand and bloggers point of view.

I love going to blogging events as they always give me lots of inspiration. I love chatting to like-minded people that really understand what it is you do for a hobby/job. I am so excited for Scarlett’s next event, fingers crossed I get to attend! I also filmed an overview for the event for my YouTube channel so be sure to have a watch!
